Trustee Makola Abdullah to give Richmond, VA TedTalk
On April 8, 2016, Makola M. Abdullah, Ph.D. President of Virginia State University (VSU) and member of the Board of Trustees for The National Association for the Preservation of African-American History & Culture, Inc. (NAPAAHC) will give his inaugural TEDxRVA presentation at Richmond, Virginia's Carpenter Theatre.
"TEDX Richmond is an offshoot TedTalk where people give 10 to 15 minute presentations about interesting topics," said Trustee Abdullah. "The overall focus of the event is artful. And my talk is specifically on how I think the fine arts, performing arts, and liberal arts play such an important role in making sure that STEM Professionals really become innovative."
